Freedom Means the Right to Choose
How much freedom (God-given unalienable Rights) will Americans give up to feel “safe and protected”? How “dependent” are we becoming on our government to save us? What are we willing to give in exchange for our freedom? Covid-19 is real, and it has killed people, but our government manipulated the numbers to cause fear and implement greater control, as the Deep State pushes towards a One World Government. These restrictions were very severe, and carried heavy punishments reflecting a Draconian government. Our government was never created to “take care and provide for” the people. Our government was created to protect our freedoms as we take care and provide for ourselves and help those in need. It was created to protect us from foreign and domestic adversaries allowing America to remain a sovereign nation. The U.S. Constitution is written to limit our government, not the Good People.
America is said to be “The land of the free and the home of the brave.” The only way a nation can remain free is by the people being brave and courageous. Freedom isn’t for the weak, selfish and lazy because it isn’t free. It cost the blood of Jesus Christ, of soldiers, law enforcement and first responders. The concept of freedom and liberty comes from our Christian heritage. America is a Christian nation, and because of our Christian foundation, we have God-given unalienable Rights woven into our Constitution, and apart from Christianity our Constitution will not stand. Christianity honors the right of individual choice, and because of this, America has the greatest religious liberties of any nation in the world.
Because of our “freedom of choice” you can build a mosque, a synagogue, a temple, a church or a hall. You can choose to be Atheist, Deist, Agnostic, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Wiccan, Christian, Pagan, Gay, Straight, or whatever. We might disagree with someone’s beliefs, but we must respect their right to choose, allowing open dialog.
One of the basic tenants of the Christian faith, is the concept of choice. God gives everyone the right to choose how we should live our lives. He forces no one to follow Him. God gave us the Ten Commandments as the basis of truth to form our laws. Freedom of choice is not without consequences, ergo the need for the rule of law as it pertains to the United States Constitution.
CAUTION! Freedom of choice can never be greater than the foundation on which the law that secures that freedom stands. This would breach the foundation. In other words, a person can choose to be Muslim, but Muslim ideology can never be woven into the foundation of our laws because they contradict Biblical ideologies which give us the “freedom of choice.” You cannot build any ideology on the foundation of our Constitution other than the ideology on which the foundation was built: Christianity.
To acknowledge all of our unalienable Rights come from God, is to acknowledge our Rights flow from a spiritual realm into a physical realm being written down becoming the supreme Law of the Land. Therefore, any law that contradicts the moral code of God’s laws, are unconstitutional and considered lawlessness.
James Wilson was the second most active member of the Constitutional Convention. He was one of the first Supreme Court Justices. James wrote: “Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine.”
Someone might not agree with Christianity, but it is a historical fact, our freedom is based on the ones who did. These words are engraved on the Jefferson Memorial: “God who gave us life gave us liberty.” Liberty means freedom with responsibility. Our Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are empowered by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” We are to be independent, not dependent upon our government because dependency is bondage.
Unalienable (Webster): incapable of being surrendered or transferred. Our Constitutional Rights come from God. Remove God from our American way of life, and you will remove our freedom. The Deep State knows the only way to gain complete control of America is to silence Christians and the Word of God.
“We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for selfgovernment upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments.” – James Madison 4th President of the USA. The God of the Ten Commandments is Jehovah Yahweh; God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
America has the greatest religious liberties of any nation on earth because of the Christian faith.
“Give me liberty or give me death,” – Patrick Henry. Liberty means freedom with responsibility. A selfish, lazy, weak people will never be able to maintain liberty. Only self-sacrificing people who are willing to die for what they believe. Your choice and my choice are not always going to line up. We will disagree on our choices, but we must agree on our right to choose and facilitate an environment of intelligent, open debate.
Our choices affect all of us, and that is why freedom is difficult, for the brave, and for the ones who are willing to sacrifice their own opinion for people’s right to choose, even if you disagree. Because we disagree it doesn’t make someone an intolerant, racist, Fascist, ignorant, homophobe, Neanderthal, deplorable, sexist, xenophobe, misogynist or hater. As soon as we take a group of people who we disagree with, and not allow them their “right to choose” we have become an enemy of the Constitution and of the United States of America.
“In 1787 the Constitutional Convention was held in secrecy behind closed doors. Anxious, concerned citizens gathered outside Independence Hall. Once the committee emerged, A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia, asked Benjamin Franklin “Well Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation Franklin responded, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” (ourrepbuliconline.com)
