Who is "We The County"?

We are your neighbors, our kids go to the same school, we do fundraisers together when a family is in need, we see each other in church Sunday morning and then at the restaurant, we help each other get the crops off in the Fall, and we are always there to lend a hand. This is our community.

We The County is a movement uniting Small Businesses, Patriots and Churches within each County to stand together as One Voice. We support the Original Intent of our Founding Fathers in the understanding and interpretation of our Constitution. We are “One Nation, under God with Liberty and Justice for All.”

Each County is somewhat autonomous. The goal of We The County is to bring back the authority to govern to the County, Township and Local Community. The parents should be directing the education of their children, not the state or federal government. Our Health Department should not rule over us, but assist us.

The Small Businesses are the backbone of our local community. We have to get the message out how essential our Small Businesses are in order to have a healthy community. Once our Small Businesses are gone, they won’t return and we will have ghost towns. They are our supply chains of goods and services. They supply our families and friends with jobs. These are the places we meet, talk, solve problems, and socialize over a cup of coffee, lunch or a cold beer. Our hair stylists are the best therapists around! If we don’t support our Small Businesses, soon Amazon, Walmart and other large box chains will take over. This would be devastating to our local community.

The Patriots are people who love America and our freedom. Some are very bold and outspoken, and some are quite and reserved, but they understand we must defend our Constitution in order to keep our freedoms. Their minds are set, they will not back down. Many of them are staunch supporters of our Second Amendment, our right to bear arms. They have the heart of a protector; of one who stands guard for our local community and our Republic.

The Churches are our moral compass and prayer covering. They know if they don’t stand up for our Constitutional rights, their freedom of religion will vanish as Political Correctness silences the Church. Marxist-Socialism hates Christianity and is trying to remove God from every aspect of society. Our Declaration of Independence acknowledges all of our Constitutional rights come from God and not man, so the Deep State is trying to remove God from our Constitution. The Church has “Awoke” and has become involved in government.

The Small Businesses, Patriots and the Churches are standing together as One Voice. The more people who sign up, the louder and more powerful our voice becomes. Click here to become a member!.

About the Founder

Michael Dennis Smith is a husband, a father of four wonderful children, and the grandfather of 12 high-energy grandchildren. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Education and a Diploma of Christian Ministry from Vision International College. Mike was a paratrooper in the 82^nd Airborne Division and during his training was awarded the “Leader Trainee of the Cycle” along with the “Top Physical Fitness Award.” He was also awarded the “Carnegie Medal of Heroism” for saving the life of Candice Marks by rescuing her from her burning home at which time Karen (Mike’s wife) resuscitated the child. Michael Dennis Smith is the founder of We The County, the original county-by-county grassroots movement in Michigan that brings together Small Businesses, Patriots and Churches to expose the Deep State and stand up for our Constitutional Rights.

Mike and Karen owned and operated two restaurants, one in Keego Harbor MI and one in Sandusky MI. He worked as a teacher at the Sanilac Career Center for 15 years before becoming a full-time pastor at Life Song Church in Snover Michigan. Smith is the author of the book “The Final Battle: America is Divided and the End-of-Age Final Battle has Begun.” Mike enjoys working around his house with his wife Karen, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

We The County’s Goals

We will bring the authority to govern back to the local community. The Original Intent of the Constitution is for a limited Federal Government and for “We the People” to govern our County and State. We will work with Constitutional attorney Katherine Henry from Restore Freedom, other professionals, politicians, judges, organizations and concerned citizens.
Parents will regain control of their children’s education by working with educators. Currently, our children are being indoctrinated with progressive ideologies that instill hostility towards patriotism, traditional values, and a free exchange of ideas.
We will form strong communities that will support the right to stand up and express your opinion without verbally attacking or vilifying anyone because we don’t agree with the common narrative. We will protect the open forum for the exchange of ideas and individual thought.
Expose the corruption in the government, big pharma, social media and major news networks. We will hold our elected officials accountable for their oath to the Constitution.
Educate people about the importance of supporting our local businesses. They are the backbone of our local communities. They are our supply chain of goods and services. Once they are gone, many will never return.
Never again allow a “health emergency” to supersede our Constitutional Rights of freedom to assemble, freedom of religion and the Right to support our families.
Protect the Right for all medical treatment to be between a doctor and her patient. The Governor and DHHS should never have the right to force vaccinations or limit the use of drugs like Hydroxy Chloroquine. This is true for all medical personal and frontline workers.
Create a community of support, lending a hand when needed. We will be a hub of information for events and what is happening in the local community.
Give a platform to those who want to be heard and gather together with like-minded people to make a difference, standing up for our Constitutional Rights.
